An executive assistant described the governor reaching under her blouse and grabbing her breast. Another aide said he complained to her during the pandemic that he was lonely and âwanted to be touched.â
Eleven women detailed their interactions with Cuomo for a civil investigation into the governorâs behavior by the New York Attorney Generalâs Office made public on Tuesday. They painted a picture of a governor who made sexually explicit comments and intimidated women without fear of reprisal.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo made absolutely no mention of the ongoing investigation against his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, on his show tonight despite the fact that his brother was found to have sexually harassed staffers after an investigation by the New York state Attorney General.
But Chris Cuomo was also personally connected to the case; he testified in the New York Attorney General’s investigation on behalf of his brother, and advised him on how to handle the proceedings and deal with negative press.

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women from 2013 to 2020, said a report by independent investigators appointed by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Led by Joon Kim, former acting U.S. attorney for Manhattan, and Anne Clark, an employment discrimination attorney, the investigators spent near five months in interviewing 179 individuals and reviewed more than 74,000 documents, emails, tests and pictures as evidence, according to a release by New York Attorney General s office on Tuesday.
Cuomo harassed former and current state employees by engaging in unwanted groping, kissing, and hugging and making inappropriate comments in addition to retaliating against at least one former employee for sharing her story, according to the report.

Gov. Ned Lamont called Tuesday evening for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign after an investigator’s report alleged that Cuomo had sexually harassed 11 women.
“We are appalled at the findings of the independent investigation by the New York Attorney General,” Lamont wrote in a joint statement with Govs. Dan McKee of Rhode Island, Phil Murphy of New Jersey and Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania. “Governor Cuomo should resign from office.”
