NH Veterans Home neighbors make memorial for residents who have died from COVID-19 © WMUR NH veterans home memorial In Tilton, neighbors of the New Hampshire Veterans Home have come together to show the staff and residents how much they care. Staff and residents are fighting a deadly COVID-19 outbreak at the home. Outside, members of the community did their part to show their support. “When something like that happens, you need to pull in as a community and show that you care,” Tilton resident Aimee Amirault said. Amirault has been working with people in her community to put together a memorial at the New Hampshire Veterans Home. Twenty-eight residents of the home recently died from COVID-19.
