On Saturday, friends and family gathered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church for a memorial mass. Members of Officer Corr s family and New Hartford police chief Mike Inserra were some of whom attended the mass. The family spoke at the service and asked that their son be remembered as someone who answered the call of duty.

Leads Sought in NH Home Invasion, Woman Shot Multiple Times

They re hoping to utilize Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers and its anonymous tip-line and website in an effort to track down those responsible for the incident. Police say it happened back in December when several males smashed through the front door of a residence on Ney Ave. The intruders were armed, police said, and ultimately there was an exchange of gunfire between the robbers and those who lived there. One female, whom police called a visitor at the home, suffered multiple gunshot wounds but did survive. Lt. Ronald Fontaine of New Hartford Police said it does not appear any of the invaders were wounded. While he did not say what, if anything, was taken from the home, he believes it was not a random act of crime and the home was specifically targeted, saying there is no threat to the general public.

Last September, the Oneida City Police Department Facebook page requested the public’s assistance with identifying and locating the pictured male & vehicle regarding a reported theft of merchandise from Lowes. Their page s information is still up and active, leading us to believe the case is still open. Oneida City Police Department Oneida City Police Departmentsays the suspect is a male with light brown colored skin, wearing jeans, a white shirt with a grey zip-up hoodie over it, black sneakers, a white hat with a black brim, and what appears to be a ‘T’ on the front of it. The male is suspected of taking approximately $598 worth of merchandise and left the scene in a newer teal/blue-ish colored small SUV.
