WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A man who robbed a Circle K convenience store in Wilmington in August 2019, stole the clerkâs car, and later crashed it into a basketball hoop at Blair Elementary School, has been sentenced to 78 months in prison.
In the early hours of August 18, 2019, Ronald Lee Croll, 51, and a co-defendant robbed the convenience store at the gas station on Gordon Road. Croll pointed a weapon at the store clerkâs head, demanded cash and also the clerkâs car keys.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The New Hanover County Sheriffâs Office is asking for the publicâs help in a larceny case it is investigating.
According to a Facebook post from the sheriffâs office, the incident took place at the Murphy gas station located at 5205 Carolina Beach Road on March 10.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A 14-year-old girl who was last seen at Holly Shelter Middle School at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 has been reported missing.
Kayleigh Liederbach is 5â²7â³ tall, medium build and weighs 135lbs. She has long, brown hair and brown eyes.
Kayleigh was last seen wearing black canvas shoes and possibly jeans.
