Puducherry: The protest launched by the ruling Congress party and its allies in Puducherry from January 8 against lieutenant governor Kiran Bedi for “blocking the welfare and development schemes of the elected government” and demanding that the Centre immediately recall her “temporarily” ended on Sunday.
Chief minister V Narayanasamy, who led the protest, spent the second consecutive night on Saturday on a temporary pandal erected on the road at the protest venue near Anna Statue in the town.
