FHP arrests man accused of pulling gun on driver on Interstate 95

ST. LUCIE COUNTY A man driving on Interstate 95 pointed a gun at another vehicle and was arrested by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper Tuesday, according to an arrest affidavit. Raymond Poccia, 66, whose city of residence wasn t listed, faces a charge of an improper exhibit of a firearm or weapon. FHP investigators said they received reports that the driver of a black Ford pickup, later identified as Poccia, brandished a gun at a white Dodge pickup while driving on I-95 in St. Lucie County. The driver of the Dodge truck pursued Poccia until troopers found them on Florida s Turnpike about a mile north of the Palm City exit in Martin County and pulled over Poccia, according to the affidavit.
