Free COVID-19 testing will continue each Monday through February near the baseball fields at Treasure Valley Community College. The clinics will be offered by Valley Family Health Care and will be from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Valley Family is partnering with the collegeâs nursing department to hold the clinics, which will be offered at no cost to anyone age 7 and older, according to information received Sunday from Irene Winters, chief nursing officer. Children younger than 7 will need to see a pediatrician for COVID testing.
Additionally, all Valley Family clinics in both Oregon and Idaho, are now designated as COVID vaccine administration sites, according to Winters. Clinics have started receiving limited shipments of the Moderna vaccine and will begin administering it this week to individuals in the community who fall within the Tier 1 group.

ONTARIO, Ore., Dec. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ Treasure Valley Community College ( TVCC ) has become aware of a data security incident that may have involved the personal information of certain TVCC community members. TVCC is offering complimentary credit monitoring services to them.
On August 25, 2020, TVCC learned that unauthorized access to an employee email account had by an unknown person may have exposed personal information about members of the TVCC community. The information may have included student ID numbers, Social Security numbers and dates of birth. It is possible that the access to the email account could have happened between June and December, 2019.

Treasure Valley Community College is making an offer people may not want to refuse.
Any new student who registers for winter term at the college can take one class tuition-free, to try out college to see if itâs for them, to boost skills or just for professional development.
Students taking classes online at another college, can also take a tuition-free class from TVCC and transfer the credit to the other school.
