As expected, Nissan Australia’s second locally developed Warrior model, based on the new PRO-4X flagship of the upgraded 2021 Navara range released in May, is pricier than the previous NTREK Warrior it replaces but more affordable than its most direct rival, the Toyota HiLux Rugged X. Pricing for the top-shelf Rugged X version of Australia’s top-selling ute increased to $69,990 plus on-road costs in August 2020, when the manual transmission option was also dropped.
