‘PCMC Smart city work to be done in 7 months’

Almost 60 per cent of work under PCMC Smart City Project has been completed
The civic body, which currently ranks 22, claims only 40% of these projects remain, and their work will be fast-tracked
Civic officials have claimed the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (
PCMC)
Smart City Project (
SCP) has only 40 per cent of its development projects remaining and these will happen over the next seven months. The declaration comes on the heels of the Centre deciding to wind up its Smart City Mission (
SCM) and clarifying that projects will not be extended beyond on March 31, 2022.
