Event: Updates to Government of Peru Quarantine and Movement Restrictions (July 12, 2021)
On July 12, 2021, the Government of Peru announced the extension of emergency self-quarantine and movement restrictions due to high levels of COVID-19 spread, effective Monday, July 12 to August 8, 2021.
The Jorge Chavez International airport in Lima remains open, and domestic land and air transportation continue with reduced occupancy in all other regions of the country.
Air Travel Restrictions:
Effective thru August 8, 2021, Peruvian citizens and permanent residents who have traveled from or transited through Brazil, South Africa, or India must quarantine in their home, lodging, or isolated space for a period of 14 days.
