The third-gen Nissan Note has been launched in Singapore. The hatchback, which was introduced last November, goes on sale in the republic in two variant forms, Lite and Premium, with prices starting from S$99,800 (RM303,550) inclusive of certificate of entitlement (COE).
The new Note arrives in that market as a hybrid, and that’s because there’s only one powertrain available for it, in this case an e-Power petrol-electric system. There are no longer any petrol-only variants for the Note.
The second-generation e-Power system on the car continues to feature a HR12 1.2 litre three-cylinder engine as the generator to charge the battery pack, but the unit has been made more efficient, operating at a lower RPM and engaged less often during a typical drive. It also offers better fuel economy and increased power, although specific output from the engine isn’t highlighted.

Nissan has unveiled the new 2022 Nissan Frontier midsize truck, which is set to go on sale in the US this summer. This bold-looking new truck replaces the D40 Frontier (we know it as the “Mother Trucker” Navara), which has been in the US since 2005. No typo there, 2005. North America did not get our current D23 Navara NP300, which was facelifted late last year, so this update is much needed there.
The platform has been retained, but the Frontier body is all new. As with most trucks, design is mostly focused on the face, and the Frontier features a square front end with a big grille (Frontier name above the new Nissan logo) and chiseled hood, framed by “precision interlocking” headlights.

Let’s face it the Nissan Frontier has been long overdue for a serious overhaul. But as they say, good things come to those who wait. And the all-new 2022 Nissan Frontier brings plenty of updates that elevate its status in the mid-size truck segment. Here’s a look at what’s new.

The Frontier received an entirely new look that’s considerably more rugged than its predecessor. Its facelift takes inspiration from the Nissan Hardbody, a truck that made a name for itself at off-road racing events throughout the 1980s and 1990s. It also sports a bigger, bolder grille, a wider stance, taller ride height, and imposing vertical fenders. The specially equipped four-wheel-drive-only Frontier PRO-4X and the new two-wheel-drive-only Frontier PRO-X models both feature LED headlamps, daytime running lights, fog lights, and eye-catching red grille accents.
