Chaos regarding vaccine slot
Through this column of your esteemed daily, I would like to highlight the problem faced by the common people of the age group of 18-44 to register at Cowin, Umang App or Arogya Setu App for vaccination appointment against Coronavirus. People are facing problems while booking the slots as it begins after 4 pm and most of the time it doesn t. Nonetheless, it begins for a few minutes, but within 2-3 minute all the slots get booked and the minimum numbers of available slots are 5-10 in most of the centres.

A 6- month Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) Program on rehabilitation of Divyangjan was launched by the Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment. Union Minister of State, SJ&E, Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar ; Australian High Commissioner to India, Barry O’Farrell; High Commissioner of India to Australia, ShManpreet Vohra; Secretary DEPwD, GoI, M Anjali Bhawra, Vice-Chancellor of Melbourne University Professor Duncan Maskell., S, DEPwD, Prabodh Seth and Dr. Nathan Gills of Melbourne University were also among those present at the launch event.

Noida: The latest case of the wife of an IRS officer ending her life over alleged dowry demands and mental torture and the spate of suicides being witnessed over the past one year in Gautam Budh Nagar district reflect alarming trends about mental health.
As per police data, as many as 380 people have died of suicide over the past one year throughout 2020 and of them, around one-third (126) were women while 24 were children and teenagers (aged below 18).
An analysis by TOI shows that suicides increased during the lockdown, and job loss, personal disputes, strained or broken relationships, poor health and depression are some of the major causes.
