Agartala/Imphal/Guwahati, Jan 14 : After Assam and Meghalaya, three more northeastern states - Tripura, Manipur and Sikkim - on Wednesday saw Covid-19 vaccines reach them for the first round of immunisation, officials said.
While Assam received the second consignment of Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday after the first delivery on Tuesday, Tripura, Manipur and Sikkim received their first lot.

The first batch of 80,000 doses will be delivered across Srinagar at designated vaccination centres for the inoculation drive set to begin on 16 January.

Jammu and Kashmir received over 80,000 doses of the Oxford Covid-19 vaccine, Covishield, from the Pune-based Serum Institute of India (SII) on Wednesday afternoon.
This first batch of doses will be delivered across Srinagar at designated vaccination centres for the inoculation drive set to begin on 16 January, along with the rest of the parts of India.
