Spicejet flight SG8937 carried the vaccines from Pune
The first flight ferrying coronavirus vaccine from Pune s Serum Institute of India has reached Delhi at 10 am on Tuesday, four days ahead of the nationwide inoculation drive launch. Spicejet flight SG8937 with the consignment departed from Pune at 8 am. SpiceJet chairman Ajay Singh said, Proud to say that SpiceJet carried India s first consignment of COVID vaccines from Pune to Delhi this morning .

New Delhi: Ahead of January 16 vaccine roll-out, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a virtual meeting with Chief Ministers today afternoon and also review coronavirus situation in their respective states.
All states will share the details of preparations made for the planned vaccination during this meeting.
The meeting is slated to begin at 4 pm. He will be apprised by the CMs on the roll-out of coronavirus vaccine as well as the COVID-19 situation in their respective states.
