COVID patients were reported on Sunday in the district; 594 deaths in state
The Pune district’s COVID-19 tally has touched 9,95,524 on Sunday, with 3,088 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, said district officials. Meanwhile, the death toll reached 16,089 after 94 more people in the district succumbed to COVID-related complications.

COVID patients were reported in the district on Sunday, with the overall recoveries rising to 9,33,099. The active number of cases in the district stands at 46,505, of which 19,928 are in hospitals and 26,577 in home isolation.

MUMBAI: Maharashtra reported 29,911 fresh coronavirus positive cases and 738 deaths on Thursday, which took its infection tally to 54,97,448 and toll to 85,355, the health department said.
The state witnessed a drop of 4,120 cases as compared to Wednesday, when it had recorded 34,031 cases.
A 47,371 patients got discharge during the day, the state s recovery count reached 50,26,308, it said.
With this, the Covid-19 recovery rate of the state now stands at 91.43 per cent, while the case fatality rate is 1.55 per cent. The positivity rate is 17.09 per cent.
