POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office released a sketch Friday of a man whose body was found on Interstate 95 in Pompano Beach earlier this month in hopes that someone will be able to identify him.
The Florida Highway Patrol was notified about the body on April 17 after the victim was found lying on the northbound I-95 exit ramp near Atlantic Boulevard.
According to the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was a white or mixed-race man, who was 6 feet tall and 175 pounds.

Detectives investigate how a person ended up dead inside a burning car on Sunday morning in Hollywood.
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – An investigation into how a woman turned up dead in a burning car continued on Tuesday in Broward County.
Firefighters found a woman dead inside a burning car about 7 a.m. on Sunday in Hollywood. The car was parked in an alley behind Speedy Distribution at 2342 Thomas St.
Detectives have yet to release the identity of the victim. But at the crime scene on Tuesday, there were teddy bears and balloons and friends who said the victim was a 25-year-old woman.
Worker killed when steel beam falls on him in Oakland Park

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives and authorities with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating a fatal industrial accident that left a man dead in Oakland Park last week.
The incident was reported shortly before noon Thursday at Steel Fabricators LLC located at 721 E. Prospect Road.
According to authorities, the victim, Juan Ayala, 58, of Miami Gardens, was welding an I-beam when it somehow became dislodged and fell on him.
BSO deputies and Oakland Park Fire Rescue personnel responded to the business and Ayala was pronounced dead at the scene.
