An 83-year old Florida man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after he allegedly shot his neighbor over a dispute about feeding local ducks and geese.
Victor Ezquerra allegedly approached his neighbor, Jose Gambarrutta, on Tuesday morning as Gambarrutta sat on his own front porch. The two men then got into a scuffle and Ezquerra eventually shot Gambarrutta in his arm, a witness said. Gambarrutta eventually released the gun, and the witness then called police after kicking the gun away, Local 10 News reported.
While campaigning to become Sarasota County’s next sheriff last year, Kurt Hoffman, at the time Sheriff’s Office second in command, slipped into a merchandise booth for a photograph.
Hoffman stood out in his hunter green uniform next to “We are Q” T-shirts on display, the Donald Trump red, white and blue sneakers on the table, and the stack of books nearby that urged prospective readers to “Question the Narrative.”
Hoffman’s arm, draped over a woman’s shoulder, rested just inches away from her T-shirt that bore the “We are QAnon” insignia – a phrase referring to the right-wing fringe movement that promotes baseless conspiracy theories about government secrets and sinister plots by a child sex trafficking ring run by satanic pedophiles and cannibals.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a missing 21-year-old woman who failed to show up for a Zoom Bible study hours after visiting a South Florida nature center a week ago.
Noemi Bolivar’s parents told CBS4 their last contact from Bolivar was a Snapchat message while she was in Anne Kolb Nature Center on Feb. 11.
“She’s just a nature girl. She loves birds. That’s her passion, go look at the birds and the plants and everything,” Marycel Bolivar told WPLG.
