Race for Life is set to return to Sussex RACE for Life is set to return to Sussex after last year’s events were cancelled due to Covid-19 lockdowns. The Cancer Research UK running events are due to return in the autumn with social distancing measures in place. Money raised will help scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Every year around 52,100 people are diagnosed with cancer in the South East, while one in two people in the UK born after 1960 will get cancer in their lifetime. The events are open to all ages and abilities and will include 3K, 5K, 10K and Pretty Muddy races.
