Worcester dad runs 5k everyday for a year after daughter s cancer battle

A DAD who set out to run 5k every day for a year has just completed his mission on the three year anniversary of his daughter, Jessica, coming out of hospital after her cancer battle. Throughout the pandemic Adam Dovey took up running, initially to keep active but he then decided to set himself the huge challenge of running 5km everyday for a year for charity. This meant running in the rain, in the snow the heat of last summer and even on Christmas day. He ran the final 5k on Sunday with Jessica by his side and was met by friends and family cheering him on as he reached the end of the colossal task.
