Three communities in Oluyole Federal Constituency of Oyo State; Orelope Isale-Alfa; Papa Eleye and Irepodun, Abey Technical, Liberty Academy Road have gotten the donation of 300KVA transformers each to boost power supply to the communities.
The transformers which are already installed were facilitated by a member of the House of Representatives, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, as part of her commitment on electrification and in fulfilment of her vow that Oluyole constituency would witness more developments from the Federal Government.

The Israeli right rejoiced as Jonathan Pollard, a convicted American spy who passed along secret documents to Israel in the 1980s, received a hero’s welcome at Ben-Gurion Airport early Wednesday morning.
Standing on the tarmac alongside his wife Esther, the former U.S. naval analyst, who spent three decades in American prison, was welcomed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Welcome home,” Netanyahu told the couple, “now you can start life anew, with freedom and happiness. Now you are at home.”

Summer predictions of a surge in immigration to Israel because of the coronavirus pandemic have proved to be overly optimistic, as new data showed a drop of 40 percent in new arrivals.
The predictions were made when it initially appeared that Israel was managing the rates of infection more effectively than other Western countries. Since then, Israel has experienced repeated surges of infection and the country has been locked down twice and suffered significant economic damage, including surging unemployment.
According to the Jewish Agency, only 20,000 individuals will have made aliyah to Israel by the year’s end, a decrease of 14,000 from the previous year. In 2019, 34,000 immigrants moved to the Jewish state, the largest annual number of immigrants to Israel over the past decade.

“Now you can start life anew, with freedom and happiness. Now you are home,” the prime minister said.
Pollard responded: “We are ecstatic to be home at last. There is no one who is more proud of this country or its leader than we are. We hope to become productive citizens as soon as possible.”

The Pollards flew in a private jet from Newark International Airport in New Jersey to accommodate Esther’s health issues, the Israel Hayom daily reported. She has been battling cancer.
