Tampa Bay region counties Hillsbotough (1,694) and Pinellas (1,598) followed.

About 6 million Floridians have completed the two-dose series of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or have completed Johnson & Johnson s single-dose vaccine, according to Wednesday s vaccine report.

COVID in Collier County: Cases, deaths, hospitalizations April 28

The Florida Department of Health on Wednesday reported 91 new cases of COVID-19 in Collier County and two additional deaths.     Collier County s cumulative number of cases is 35,128, and the total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 stands at 524. According to the state Department of Health, 1,670 people in Collier County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 since the agency started collecting data, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital.    The health department is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
