The average daily caseload has remains around 5,566 a day. That’s a 18 percent decrease from last week, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The state has recorded a known total of 2,222,546 coronavirus cases and 35,722 deaths. Among those who died, 35,030 were residents and 692 were nonresidents.
On Wednesday, the state reported the results of 89,385 residents tested on Tuesday. The state s percent positivity decreased from 6.92% to 5.76%.
About 6 million Floridians have completed the two-dose series of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or have completed Johnson & Johnson s single-dose vaccine, according to Wednesday s vaccine report.

Collier County s cumulative number of cases is 35,128, and the total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 stands at 524.
According to the state Department of Health, 1,670 people in Collier County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 since the agency started collecting data, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital.
The health department is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
