Feb. 17 COVID-19 vaccines are now available in South Florida, and the rules on who can get a shot, where and when can be confusing.
Here s what you need to know:
What s new today? Winter storms have caused icy roads, flight cancellations and power outages across the country this week. The bad weather has also delayed Florida s incoming vaccine delivery. Miami Beach is continuing to vaccinate residents 65 and older who have limited internet access, live in affordable housing or are homebound. No appointments are available due to limited supply. Instead, the city has been reaching out to community centers, senior buildings and house of worship to find eligible residents.
