The celebration of world music enlivens Islamoradaâs music scene Saturday and Sunday, May 29-30.
Music and culture are on tap for Upper Keys audiences during Memorial Day weekend, with performances starting at 6 p.m. at the Florida Keys Brewing Co., located at 81611 Old Highway in Islamorada.
Saturdayâs schedule at the popular brewery features Electric Piquete, a critically acclaimed Latin funk band known for its innovative originals and interpretations drawing on Afro-Caribbean, jazz and rock influences. An eagerly anticipated performance by the post-blues hybrid group JUke is to round out the evening.
The following night, music lovers can enjoy the danceable âAfrogalactic Tropidelicâ funk of the Nag Champayons as well as the hard-hitting âpost-nuclearâ fusion of Electric Kif.

Florida Keys Brewing is locally owned and operated in the heart of Islamorada. We operate 2 locations on the same street. Our production facility is 500ft from our tasting room and beer garden. Our brewery is a 20bbl brew house and 40bbl fermenters. The tasting room is a vibrant oasis of tie dye, palm trees and some of the best live music the Keys have to offer. We opened in 2015 and are well established in our amazing community.

Florida Keys Brewing Co is looking to add a new Brewer to our team. We are a 20bbl brewery located in
Islamorada with 240bbl cellar space and a CASK canning line. We are a small company owned and operated
by a husband and wife. We want someone who is eager to be part of our brewery family, works hard and
loves the Florida Keys!
As a brewer at Florida Keys Brewing, you need to be proficient at all aspects of the brewery.
Some additional qualities we are looking for are:
-Minimum two years professional experience.
-Focus on quality and safety.
