As well as the three most common symptoms of Covid-19 - a fever, a new continuous cough or a loss/change of taste and smell - people are now able to get a test if they have any of a new list of other symptoms too. These are fatigue, myalgia (muscle ache or pain), a sore throat, a headache, sneezing, a runny nose, a loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhoea.

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CVUHB) did not confirm which centre was affected, but said anyone identified as a close contact would be asked to self isolate. It comes as new testing sites are being opened around the city due to a surge in cases, with Covid-19 infection rates in the Welsh capital having risen by 90% in the past week alone.

Staff at a mass vaccination centre in Cardiff have tested positive for COVID-19 amid a sharp rise in the city s infection rate. Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CVUHB) confirmed to Sky News that nine people had tested positive for the virus at a vaccination centre in Splott. It comes as new testing sites are being opened around the city due to a surge in cases, with the infection rate having risen by 90% in the past week alone. We can confirm that a number of staff have tested positive at one of our Mass Vaccination Centres, CVUHB said in a tweet. We are implementing testing of staff at the centre and anyone that is identified as a close contact will be asked to self-isolate.
