Oncor energy has stopped controlled, or rotating, outages as a result of increased generation and stable demand, it said in a release.
Fewer than 2,000 Oncor customers in Williamson County were still experiencing outages Saturday morning. The company said the remaining outages are a result of storm damage. Our field personnel will continue working 24/7 to restore power to remaining customers, it said in the release.
The company said it expects the majority of restoration to be complete by Sunday morning.
Oncor said it was waiting to hear from ERCOT, which regulates the state s energy grid, about when it could restore service. The company said it does not generate electricity or control or operate generation facilities,” but only delivers it.
CHESTER â A final hurdle was cleared for the farm market amendment last week when township trustees agreed to updates in the zoning code.
After a public hearing on Jan. 14, township trustees adopted the modifications on farm market zoning rules recommended by both the Chester Township Zoning Commission and Geauga County Planning Commission.
âIt is a vast improvement over what we currently had because we currently had a lot of conflicts that were contrary to the Ohio Revised Code,â said Trustee Ken Radtke, Jr. âThis moved us much further along to be consistent with those regulations.â
The zoning commission has been researching farm markets since the fall of 2018 and reviewing existing zoning code language, which officials said was overly restrictive and potentially beyond legal authority of the township.
