David Street Station has announced their next wave of events for this summer, beginning with the opening of both the Splash Pad and the WCDA Summer Market.
The Splash Pad opened early on Tuesday and it offers children and adults alike the opportunity to cool down and make some Splash-tastic memories at the place where Casper Comes Together. The Splash Pad is open every day this from 10:00am-10:00pm.
David Street Station also started the WCDA Summer Markets, which gives community members the opportunity to buy handmade, homemade, homegrown goods from local vendors. The Summer Markets happen every Tuesday at DSS, from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

K-Jo 105.5’s Canned Film Festival makes its triumphant return to the Hollywood Theaters in St. Joe this summer.
Every Tuesday and Wednesday see a K-Jo Kids Classic. All you need to get in is one can of food for Second Harvest.
Showtimes will be announced the week before each showing to comply with Covid-19 protocols. You get your choice of films. Go both days to catch both shows.

Boise offers so many ways for families to cool down when things start to heat up. Swimming at Lucky Peak, Eagle Island or Quinn s Pond. Taking a dip in one of the public pools. Screaming as you plunge down Snake River Run at Roaring Springs. Running through one of the splash pads around the Treasure Valley.

But, if you know what else we can do this summer that was a little difficult to do in 2020? Grab a giant tub of popcorn, a soda that s the size of a bucket and bask in the cool AC of a movie theater. With the exception of mom and pop theater, Overland Park Cinemas, most theaters in the Treasure Valley were closed until August. Some even went through a second closure in October.
