A Steelville man is charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree domestic assault after an incident in Centralia Sunday morning.
According to court records, Brandon Harrison went to a residence in the 23000 block of Schunemeyer Road near Centralia uninvited just after midnight.
Boone County Joint Communications advised deputies that the resident reported someone who was walking around the property threatening him and hitting the windows of the house.

CENTRALIA - Boone County deputies responded to 23000 block of Schunemeyer Road near Centralia to investigate a suspicious person incident at a home on July 25 at 12:44 a.m.
Boone County Joint Communications advised deputies that the resident reported someone who was walking around the property threatening him and hitting the windows of the house.Â
The resident had a female present hiding with him.Â
When deputies arrived the front door was open and a bleeding Brandon Harrison, age 32 of Steelville, exited the home.Â
A press release from the Boone County Sheriff s Office said the male resident and female were located nearby.Â
The investigation revealed that Harrison and the resident are relatives. The female who was present is Harrisonâs estranged girlfriend.

Deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the 700 block of Demaret Dr. just after 5 p.m. Friday.
Boone County Joint Communications received a report the person had been shot at a residence.
Deputies reported the 32-year-old male has a gunshot wound to his leg.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officials report his wound is not believed to be life-threatening.
COLUMBIA - Columbia Police have arrested a Grandview man after a carjacking and vehicle pursuit on Friday afternoon.
Kenneth J. Edwards, 28, for charges of vehicle hijacking, fourth degree assault, first degree property damage, careless and imprudent driving, trespassing and resisting arrest for his involvement in a recent carjacking incident.
At approximately 12:27 p.m. on Friday, CPD responded to a report of a carjacking that took place in the 900 block of Pannell Street, according to a news release.
Officers learned a female victim had been forcibly removed from her car by an adult male, who was approximately 5â10, with short black hair wearing a red, long- sleeved shirt and a ballcap.
