Advance wagering on the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) and the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1 and all other races on Saturday s 12-race program at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla., will be available to bettors on Friday.
The Pegasus Day program will feature graded stakes in the last six races on Saturday s program. The Late Pick 4 (Races 9-12) and Late Pick 5 (Races 8-12) will both have guaranteed pools of $750,000
The Pegasus Turf (Race 11) and the Pegasus (Race 12) will anchor the sequences for the Saturday s Late Pick 4 and Pick 5, as well as the Rainbow 6 (Races 7-12).

“He s training great. He s been very feisty lately, like he always is,” trainer Tom Albertrani said. “He s not showing any signs of wear and tear, that s for sure.”

The $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational and $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational are among the seven graded-stakes worth $4.725 million on a blockbuster 12-race program at Gulfstream Park on Saturday. Both Pegasus races will be part of NBC s live national telecast from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Expanded coverage of the Pegasus World Cup will anchor TVG s weekend coverage as the network is live from Gulfstream Park with exclusive behind-the-scenes features, interviews and expert analysis. TVG s weekend broadcast will also feature opening weekend from Oaklawn Park including the $150,000 Smarty Jones Stakes on Friday which will offer points towards a berth in the Kentucky Derby.
