Becker County Sheriff’s Office K9 Durman will receive a bullet and stab protective vest, thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.
K9 Durman’s vest is sponsored by Ashley Fletcher of Hawley, and will be embroidered with the sentiment “Gifted by Ashley Fletcher.” Delivery is expected within eight to 10 weeks.

A Lake Park woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Highway 10 in Audubon.
Loyse Clare Porter, 89, of Lake Park suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes.
She pulled out from County Road 11 in a 2015 Subaru Impreza to cross Highway 10, and struck a westbound 2017 Buick Enclave driven by Nona Louise Bellware, 58, of Detroit Lakes, who was not injured, according to the State Patrol.
