The state government has announced a six-month leave for child care for its female employees. The announcement was made by Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa while presenting the budget for 2021-22 in the Assembly. Presenting the budget, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said that the two main government offices located in each district centre will be opened for the care of such children. Along with this, he announced a grant of Rs 37,188 crore for women-centric programs.
