Bengaluru Metro: BMRCL Awards Track Supply Contract For Phase 2 Project s Under Construction Lines To Jindal Steel Source: Rail Analysis India Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has awarded Jindal Steel and Power Ltd the contract to supply rails for the phase 2 of Bengaluru Metro project’s under construction lines, reports The Metro Rail Guy. The contract is worth Rs 38.06 crore and the delivered rails could be laid either in the Yellow Line that is spread across 19.143 km, connecting RV Road-Silkboard-Electronic City-Bommansandra, or the 21.386 km long Pink Line that interlinks Nagawara-Kalena Agrahara (Gottigere). BMRCL had rolled out the invitation for the tenders of these 60 E1 880 grade rails in July 2020.
