On Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, Leola N. Medina, loving wife, and mother of four children and grandmother to five grandchildren, passed away peacefully at the age of 86.
Leola was born in Baker Brook, New Brunswick, Canada to Adelard and Emma (Baker) Nadeau. She came to Massachusetts to pursue her education. Education was very important to her. She graduated from Wareham High School in 1952 and then St. Luke s Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She went on to receive a B.A. in Nursing from Boston University in 1960 and became a member of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing. She was a registered nurse until her retirement.

The world s gaze will be drawn to Washington DC and the Capitol once again today for President Joe Biden s official inauguration.
And when the first historic picture is taken of Mr Biden sat at his desk in the Oval Office, there s one reason why residents of Kent may have an eye on the furniture rather than the 46th President of the United States of America.

“This communitarian aesthetic, it really does go back to a very ancient time,” Mr. Smyth said. “When we’re sitting around the campfire, we’re talking about the hunt. You read that correctly. Sea shanties are a bop on TikTok – specifically Wellerman, a 200-year-old jam.
Since the end of December, the hashtags #ShantyTok and #seashanty have pulled up a variety of creations that have changed the game on the work songs that were once commonly sung to accompany labor on board large merchant sailing vessels. Beautiful arrangements, acapella, remixes, and even hilarious reaction videos can be found. The list is so long it could reach the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
