Clashes broke out between TMC and BJP workers in Arambagh of West Bengal on Tuesday as the area voted in the third phase of assembly elections. TMC candidate Sujata Mondal was allegedly attacked by mask-clad men who threw bricks at her.
According to news agency ANI, clashes erupted between TMC and BJP supporters in Arambag on Tuesday morning as
voting was underway. TMC has filed a complaint with the Election Commission over the attack on Sujata Mondal.

Kolkata: The third phase of polling in West Bengal was marked with incidents of violence and allegation of voter suppression similar to the first two.
Clashes were reported from several parts in the 16 seats in South 24 Parganas district (part II), seven in Howrah (part I) and eight in Hooghly (part I) where voting is underway.
