No-knock Search Warrant Yields Three Arrests In Pettis County
Miller County Sheriff’s SWAT team assisted with the breach and entry.
During warrant service, a large amount of methamphetamine (several ounces), two handguns, packaging materials, and US Currency were seized. Deputies also seized a 1996 Chevy Silverado for potential forfeiture.
Three individuals were taken into custody and charges are pending. They are as follows:
Ricky Coutts - 2nd Degree Trafficking
Ryan Newland - Possession of a Controlled Substance
Arlena Miller - Possession of a Controlled Substance.
“As sheriff, I am very pleased that we are able to remove both guns and methamphetamine off our streets. A heartfelt thank you to all involved,” Pettis County Sheriff Brad Anders commented in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.

On Thursday, March 4, Pettis County Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle out of Springfield that was left in a parking lot in the 3600 block of West Broadway. The vehicle was returned to the business that owns it.
On Tuesday, March 2 around 6:55 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to 24500 Norton Road for a theft report. The reporting party said that between 10 a.m. on Feb. 27 at 7 a.m., March 1, items were taken out of his mail box.
On Tuesday, March 2, Pettis County Deputies conducted a vehicle stop on a red Ford F-150 near West 9th and South Beacon on a vehicle with no registration. During the stop, the driver, Pamela Brill of La Monte, was arrested for two active failure to appear warrants out of Pettis County.
