The Shiv Sena today sought a high-level probe into the barge tragedy off the Mumbai coast during cyclone Tauktae and demanded the resignation of Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the ONGC chairman.
As many as 37 personnel on board a barge have died, while 38 are still missing after the vessel, working on an ONGC project, sank in the Arabian Sea. The accommodation barge P305 went adrift in the cyclone fury before sinking on Monday.
The Shiv Sena, which heads the government in Maharashtra, said the death of workers on the ONGC barge was a man-made tragedy and the guilty must be punished severely.

Chandigarh, May 16 : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday inaugurated a 500-bed Chaudhary Devi Lal Sanjivani Hospital in Hisar and an Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) 500-bed Covid Care hospital in Panipat district.
Both the temporary hospitals are the first-of-its kind in the state to get an oxygen supply directly from a company.
The hospital in Hisar is adjoining the plant of Jindal Stainless Ltd and located in the campus of Jindal Modern School was constructed in a record time of 17 days.

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh would get 450 metric tonnes of medical oxygen from other states shortly for treatment of critical COVID-19 patients, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Thursday.
The new stock of medical-grade oxygen, whose demand has shot up due to the rising coronavirus cases, is being arranged after talking to the Centre, he said.
