Girl Scout Cookie season kicks off

Now
through March 14, Girl Scouts in the greater Lima area will sell eight
delicious Girl Scout Cookies, including ever-popular favorites Thin
Mints® and Samoas®, through the world’s largest girl-led
entrepreneurship program.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program has long
taught girls how to run a business and develop five essential skills.
This year, girls are adapting their sales methods in creative, socially
distant, and contact-free ways to keep themselves and their customers

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the annual Girl Scouts cookie sale has been moved online for 2021 in place of its conventional door-to-door and booth sale options. These girls are in a position to adapt very easily and we re taking their lead, Haleigh McGraw, communications and brand director at the Girl Scouts of Kentucky s Wilderness Road, told Kentucky s WBKO.

With almost everything going virtual in 2020, the Girl Scouts have worked out a way for you to still get your Thin Mint fix without having to risk getting sick in the process.
Starting this cookie-buying season you’ll be able to buy Girl Scout cookies online. There will be online cookie booths as well as socially distant and contactless sales and delivery options in select areas.
Most cookie sales will begin in January, but depending on where you live you could pre-order cookies.
The best way to get started on loading up on boxes of Caramel Delights and Shortbread cookies is to use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder app.
