KNOXVILLE — The Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians are offering online ordering and delivery for the always-anticipated cookies in an effort to keep everyone safe during the ongoing pandemic.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts(GSEMA) kicks off its Cookies for a Cause Girl Scout Cookie donation program with a donation of over 400 packages of Girl Scout cookies to Boston Children’s Hospital healthcare workers and staff. This Girl Scout Cookie drop celebrates the first of several Cookies for a Cause donations, and is made possible by contributions from Girl Scouts and customers across eastern Massachusetts.
Through March 14, customers purchase Girl Scout cookies from a Girl Scout troop online or in person to donate to first responders and health care professionals, the military and veterans services organizations, local food pantries, or other local charities. By the end of the cookie program last year, Girl Scouts in eastern Massachusetts collected more than 30,000 packages of Girl Scout cookies for donation.

Girl Scout entrepreneurs in west central Florida are expanding their sales methods during the 2021 Girl Scout Cookie Program to share the joy of Girl Scout Cookies during challenging times. In addition to traditional in-person cookie booths at local Publix, Walmart, Samâs Club, and Winn-Dixie stores beginning Feb. 12, Girl Scouts are demonstrating their innovation by utilizing socially distant selling methods, including taking contact-free pickup and delivery orders through a new national collaboration with Grubhub in select locations in Tampa, Riverview, Palm Harbor, and Wildwood areas starting Feb. 1

DEMING – The Girl Scout Cookie Program has long taught girls how to run a business via cookie booths, door-to-door, and the Digital Cookie® platform online. When the pandemic hit in the middle of the 2020 season, girls were faced with the same challenges as other small businesses.
Girls in Deming quickly pivoted their sales methods, from setting up drive-through locations to facilitating orders that ship directly to customers’ doors, girls as young as five years old are continuing to embrace their entrepreneurial spirits, stay connected to their communities, and have fun by participating in the cookie program.
Gulfcoast organization seeking local stores as hosts for annual drive

The Girl Scouts are looking for more local businesses to help them conduct their iconic annual cookie drive.
The Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida’s annual cookie drive begins on Feb. 19 and leaders need to partner with local stores to host in-person cookie sales. All COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed.
“This year we’re asking for support from the communities we serve in order to overcome the challenges our troops are facing this cookie season due to the ongoing pandemic,” council CEO Mary Anne Servian said in a news release. “This year, Girl Scouts will also sell cookies to donate to our essential health care workers, veterans and other Hometown Heroes.”
