(Andrew Meade/iPolitics) With the procedural paperwork now in place for the government to force an end to the three-day-old strike at the Port of Montreal, the stage is set for a lightning-round after-hours review of a bill that would order hundreds of dock workers back on the job, pending binding arbitration to resolve the long-running contract dispute. Before that can get underway, however, the House has to sign off on a government-initiated motion that would allow the legislation to clear the Commons in a single sitting day.
