WWE TLC 2020: Results, Orton kills The Fiend, full recap and analysis
Two outstanding TLC matches and one horrible main event. WWE
WWE TLC was a wild show. It featured several solid matches, and two exceptional world championship bouts. But the main event, the Firefly Inferno, was peak cringe WWE and featured Randy Orton apparently burning The Fiend to death.
Still, for as dumb as the main event was, TLC was still a great show. Nothing was was bad until the main event, and the two world title matches in which both Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns retained were must-see good.
The Universal Championship and WWE Championship will both be on the line in tables, ladders, and chairs matches tonight.
Tonight s TLC pay-per-view will feature Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against Kevin Owens and Drew McIntyre defending his WWE Championship against AJ Styles in tables, ladders, and chairs matches. Styles has warned McIntyre that he won t be facing him alone, with Money in the Bank briefcase holder The Miz, John Morrison, and Styles associate Omos also set to get involved in the match.
The first-ever Firefly Inferno match will also take place as Randy Orton faces The Fiend Bray Wyatt. A game of hide-and-seek between Orton and Wyatt on last week s Raw ended with Orton putting Wyatt in a box and lighting it on fire. But The Fiend then emerged and put Orton in the Mandible Claw.

(1) DREW MCINTYRE vs. A.J. STYLES (w/Omas) – TLC match for the WWE Title
Styles went after Drew’s knee as soon as the bell rang. Drew made a quick comeback and took Styles down aggressively. Drew also eyed Omas at ringside. Drew beat up Styles at ringside, then tried to climb the ladder. Styles kicked him in the knee and got in some offense. Drew came back and catapulted Styles into the ladder, but Styles landed on his feet and climbed the ladder. Drew knocked him down and then, more wisely, catapulted him into a chair wedged in the corner turnbuckles.
WWE RAW Preview For Tonight: TLC Fallout, Two Top Feuds To Continue, New Champions To Appear
Tonight’s WWE RAW will air live on the USA Network with fallout from last night’s TLC pay-per-view.
WWE has not announced any matches for tonight’s RAW, but they are teasing that two feuds will continue – Randy Orton vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, and AJ Styles vs. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
TLC saw McIntyre retain his title over Styles in a TLC Match. WWE is asking what’s next for both Superstars after their epic clash. TLC also saw Orton defeat The Fiend in the first-ever Firefly Inferno main event. The RAW preview asks what’s in store for Orton and The Fiend following the most stunning chapter in their rivalry.
Charlotte Flair And Asuka Reveal Possible Tag Team Name, History Made With WWE TLC Title Win
As noted, Charlotte Flair returned to action at tonight’s WWE TLC pay-per-view and made her ThunderDome debut as the mystery partner for RAW Women’s Champion Asuka, replacing Lana. Flair and Asuka defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Flair made history with the win as she is now a Grand Slam Champion and the first Superstar to hold all the women’s titles in WWE – the WWE NXT Women’s Title, the RAW Women’s Title, the SmackDown Women’s Title, and now the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. She also held the WWE Divas Title before it was retired in 2016 while Flair was the champion.
