The Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning today (May 6) advanced a proposed interim operating budget of approximately $6.9 billion to support all University operations. The proposal goes to the full board for consideration on May 7. A final budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year will be submitted at the board’s upcoming July meeting.

Committee advances proposal to sell Hershey property May 06, 2021 UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. The Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning moved forward a proposal today (May 6) to sell a property near the Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Campus for $1,025,000. The full board will consider the measure at its meeting on May 7. The 1.21-acre property, a two-story, 21,439-square-foot structure, is located at 140 Sipe Ave., Derry Township, Dauphin County. At the time of purchase in June 1987, the property provided expansion opportunities for the information services/information technology unit. The building is currently vacant, and the University has no future need for the property.

Committee advances proposal to sell Mont Alto property February 18, 2021 UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. The Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning moved forward a proposal today (Feb. 18) to sell a property at Penn State Mont Alto for $121,000. The full board will consider the measure at its meeting on Feb. 19. The property, 5 Willow St. in Mont Alto, sits on a half-acre and includes a two-story, 960-square-foot residence that adjoins the Penn State Mont Alto campus. The University purchased the property in December 2012 for potential expansion opportunities for the campus and no longer needs the property as part of its expansion plans.
