The Penn State Berkey Creamery is expanding its outreach to the University community through virtual speaking engagements. One of those was Penn State Dickinson Law’s “Cheese and Thank You” event, which included a cheese display competition among attendees featuring creamery cheeses. Alumna Denise Foster, of Lexington, Kentucky, took the “Best in Show” award.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. One of the silver linings or scoops, so to speak of the coronavirus pandemic for the Penn State Berkey Creamery has been its growing outreach to the University community through virtual speaking engagements, team-building events and membership drives.
Penn State Time Capsule 10:29 pm
A time capsule placed this week in the Bellisario Media Center largely focuses on one aspect of the Penn State community: its people.
The sealed metal box, slightly larger than a typical automobile battery, was packed with a variety of materials and publications, including recent copies of The Daily Collegian, a Penn Stater magazine from the Penn State Alumni Association, and annual reports from the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. The capsule also includes a commencement program from the spring and samples of Penn State-branded masks and hand sanitizer that were handed out to all students, faculty and staff during the fall semester.

Contents of the time capsule include a variety of publications and photographs about Penn State, the Bellisario College and the Bellisario Media Center.

Head coach James Franklin unveiled the 2021 Penn State Football recruiting class today during the Signing Day celebration, presented by The Penn State Alumni Association in the Lasch Football Building.
Penn State welcomed 15 student-athletes, who signed National Letters of Intent to join the football program. Seven of the signees will be early enrollees in January – Nate Bruce, Jeffrey Davis Jr., Kalen King, Kobe King, Rodney McGraw, Landon Tengwall and Christian Veilleux.
The Nittany Lions signed eight recruits that were rated four stars or higher by 247Sports, ESPN or Rivals.
Penn State again found success in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions as six of the signees came from within a 200-mile radius of State College. The Nittany Lions’ class features players from eight different states and provinces, with four coming from Pennsylvania and Michigan, two from Maryland, and one form Alabama, Connecticut, Illinois, Ohio and On
