Police identify man shot and killed in Grays Ferry Published  article GRAYS FERRY - Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was shot and killed late Wednesday night in Grays Ferry.  Officers patrolling the city s 17th district were called to the 1200 block of South 33rd Street around 10:30 for reports of a shooting.  Police found a man, later identified as 26-year-old Tajzee Branch Berry, shot in the leg, arm and chest. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he died just after 11 p.m. Authorities did not immediately announce any arrests. Police are investigating what sparked the deadly shooting. WEST PHILADELPHIA - Detectives are searching for two suspected gunmen after police say a teenage boy was killed on a street corner in broad daylight earlier this month in West Philadelphia. Security footage released on Thursday shows two men wanted in connection to the shooting death of a 15-year-old Jaquan Williams on Jan. 16 near the intersection of 40th and Cambridge Streets. Police describe the suspects as two Black men wearing dark-colored jackets and pants. One of the suspects has distinct white stripes on the side of his pant leg. The second person of interest was wearing a light color hooded sweatshirt underneath his jacket.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Friday in the area of 58th and Trinity streets. Police said a 26-year-old man was shot four times, twice to the chest, once on the left forearm and once on the right armpit. A 50-year-old woman was shot three times, once in the chest, right arm, and the left arm. A 27-year-old man was wounded in his right thigh. Police said Saturday afternoon that all three were hospitalized in stable condition. The suspects have been arrested, police said. Excellent work by (12th District Police) and Southwest Detectives led to a quick apprehension of the shooters, Philadelphia Inspector Derrick Wood said.

Man found shot in the head inside apartment in West Philadelphia, police say Published  article WEST PHILADELPHIA - Authorities are investigating after a man was found fatally shot inside an apartment Sunday night in West Philadelphia. Officers say a 50-year-old man named Chistopher Williams was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of an apartment of Farson Street just before 9 p.m. Police say Williams was suffering from two gunshot wounds to the head. He was taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  No arrests have been reported at this time.  Advertisement

Police: Double shooting in Southwest Philadelphia claims life of 20-year-old man Published  The shooting happened at 5 p.m. Sunday. SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was killed during a double shooting Sunday afternoon in Southwest Philadelphia. Officers patroling Philadelphia s 12th district responded to the areas of 62nd and Elmwood Streets around 4:30 p.m. after hearing gunshots, according to Chief Inspector Scott Small.  A 20-year-old man, identified as Quamir Tunnell, was reportedly shot in the head and a 34-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach. Both men were taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where Tunnell died. The 34-year-old is in critical condition but is expected to survive, according to Small.
