“I can say, without a doubt, that motherhood is for sure the most meaningful thing that has ever happened to me. I feel really lucky and happy.”
Slate, who released a 2019 stand-up special on Netflix titled Stage Fright and featured in Sofia Coppola’s latest film On The Rocks, said she wore a mask while giving birth as a pandemic precaution, describing it as “strangely rather romantic”.
Slate revealed she was pregnant during a December appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, joking that eating too much bread during lockdown had given her a bigger belly.

As per E! News, Slate confirmed the happy news in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight. Spilling the beans about it, the actor jokingly said, Yeah, I m not pregnant anymore. The baby came out.
The Obvious Child actor also shared that the couple has named their little one Ida Lupine. Speaking about her newborn, the actor said, I can say, without a doubt, that motherhood is for sure the most meaningful thing that has ever happened to me. I feel really lucky and happy.

My side of the family is kind of from all over the place Jewish people from all over the place. And one of the places they are from is Eastern Europe, Slate said. We were looking at some Eastern European names and we didn t go with this, but one name we were both obsessed with was spelled B-A-G-R-A-T.
