WILLIAMSPORT A restaurant in Argentina, an aquarium in Ireland and a resort in Singapore are just a few of the awe-inspiring architectural design concepts created by Pennsylvania College of Technology students and available for viewing in an online exhibit titled “Architecture & Sustainable Design.”
The virtual display opened Dec. 4 on the website of The Gallery at Penn College -www.pct.edu/gallery – and showcases the talents of 15 seniors in the college’s Bachelor of Science degree major in architecture and sustainable design: John H. Bernbaum, Waynesboro; Collin J. Egelhoff, Loganton; David B. Fischetti, Mechanicsburg; Stephanie A. Flick, Wind Gap; Kristina M. Holland, Mechanicsburg; Taylor J. Hurst, Etters; Liam W. WILLIAMSPORT The Community Arts Center announced it is the recipient of $5,000 from PPL Electric Utilities through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC). The contribution will be used to support the Educational Series program at the CAC.
For 25 years the Community Arts Center has offered student-centered shows within the Family Series, Educational Series and Student Summer Stock programs, thanks in large part to the vital support of the business community. “PPL Foundation is pleased to support the Community Arts Center and its Educational Series which reaches 10,000 students and 9 school districts. The arts are essential to creating well rounded individuals and PPL realizes this is especially important today,” said Tracie Witter, PPL Regional Affairs Director.

WILLIAMSPORT Through a newly formed partnership, Terex Corp. is providing the latest technology to Pennsylvania College of Technology with the donation of a new crane engine and four drive axles.
The equipment, valued at nearly $70,000, will be used to enhance instruction in the college’s heavy construction equipment technology and diesel technology programs.
Terex Corp. is a global manufacturer of lifting and material processing products, parts and service support for a broad range of industries including construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, shipping, transportation, refining, energy, utilities, quarrying and mining.
