Up to 2 inches of snow could land in central Pa. this weekend Updated Feb 05, 2021; Although Friday showers won’t leave much, if any, new snow on the ground, Sunday’s storms could produce up to two inches, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters said an inch or two or snow could accumulate during showers that are likely to hit central Pennsylvania Sunday morning. The NWS estimates the snow will stop before 1 p.m. Snow and possibly rain are forecasted Friday morning, leading the NWS to issue a hazardous weather outlook across the midstate for snow and a very slight chance of freezing rain. The snow will start after 9 a.m. and gradually come to an end later in the day, according to forecasters.
