A Pittston City bar has been fined $1,000 for violating Gov. Tom Wolfâs COVID-19 mitigation restrictions.
On July 31, Stephanieâs bar at 78-80 S. Main St. served alcohol to a patron without requiring the person to order food and served the person at the bar, both which were violations of the restrictions at the time, according to records on the state Liquor Control Board website.
Currently, in-house service of food and alcohol is prohibited until Jan. 4 under new rules Wolf announced earlier this month.
After bars and restaurants were allowed to reopen earlier this year, Wolf later enacted restrictions that required meals to be served with any alcohol sales and prohibited patrons from sitting at bars.
