Snowboarder Kiana Clay Is Fighting to Make Paralympic History

In 2017, Kiana Clay’s world fell apart. At the time, she was living in Texas, launching a photography business. “In a three-month span, my parents divorced, my fiancé and I broke up, all my camera equipment was stolen, and I wrecked my truck,” she says. “I was homeless and depressed.”
In the year prior, Clay, who has complete paralysis in her upper right arm, traveled to Copper Mountain to try out snowboarding at Adaptive Action Sports (AAS). Ikon is putting its full-access Ikon Ski Pass on sale starting today, Thursday, March 11, 2021. The Ikon Pass is available for $999 and includes unlimited, no-blackout-date access at 15 resorts, 7-day access at 21 resorts, and combined access at 11 more resorts. The Ikon Base Pass is also available for $729.
“After debuting in 2018, the Ikon Pass enters its fourth season with 44 inspiring mountain destinations,” Ikon teased in its announcement.
