New open access data portal presents a bigger picture of Stockport residents
The council, in partnership with organisations across Stockport, has a new data portal to share information and encourage the reuse of data for the benefit of people in Stockport.
‘The Big Stockport Picture’ brings together data published by organisations from across the Borough and is designed to help with local transparency, aid collaboration and to build products and services that benefit Stockport citizens.
Councillor David Sedgwick, Cabinet Member for Citizen Focus and Engagement says: “We put people at the heart of everything we do, which is why we’re passionate about data. Good data is the key to ensuring the council and our partners can design services that meet the needs of residents.
