Minnesota Power says service has been restored to all customers after hundreds of homes and businesses in Duluth s Lakeside-Lester Park neighborhood lost power on Wednesday afternoon.
The outage began at around 1:41 p.m. and the company said the power was back on for everyone by 3:05 p.m.
Amy Rutledge, the company s Corporate Communications Manager, said her understanding is there was an equipment issue that caused a main feeder to lock out. She said crews were able to make repairs and restore power in about an hour.
Minnesota Power s outage map showed that more than 1,000 customers were affected at one point.
