Domestic benchmark indices bounced back and traded with minor gains in mid morning trade. The Nifty reclaimed the crucial 14,900 mark. Bank, financial and IT stocks saw buying while metals and PSU bank shares corrected. Investors remained cautious ahead of U.S. Federal Reserve s two-day policy meeting which will conclude later in the day.
At 11:27 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, rose 81.25 points or 0.16% at 50,435.15. The Nifty 50 index was up 6.8 or 0.05% at 14,917.20.
In the broader market, the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index tumbled 0.86% while the S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 0.45%.
Sellers outpaced buyers. On the BSE, 1014 shares rose and 1615 shares fell. A total of 148 shares were unchanged.
Real Estate stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 50.59 points or 1.84% at 2705.05 at 13:48 IST. Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 6.44%), Brigade Enterprises Ltd (down 5.54%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 3.09%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 2.49%),DLF Ltd (down 2.35%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 2.08%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.97%), Sobha Ltd (down 0.64%), and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 0.42%). On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.08%), turned up.
At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 141.55 or 0.28% at 50222.41.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd lost 2.6% today to trade at Rs 442. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index is down 0.63% to quote at 15618.56. The index is up 5.83 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd decreased 1.3% and Oil & Natural Gas Corpn Ltd lost 1.26% on the day. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index went up 54.05 % over last one year compared to the 65.07% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 252 on 24 Mar 2020.

The issue opened for bidding on Friday, 12 March 2021, and it will closed on Tuesday, 16 March 2021. The price band for the IPO was set at Rs 553-555 per share. The offer comprised of a fresh issue aggregating up to Rs 760 crore by the company.
